About Danica

My name is Danica Kombol and I’m the Managing Partner at Everywhere, a social media marketing firm. Typically I blog about all things social media, the latest trends and the convergence between traditional PR and this thing they still call “new media.”  And yet, my life has afforded me the most curious and wonderful opportunities such as spending several weeks in Beirut with my journalist husband, David Lewis, where we hung out with Hezbollah and went from meetings with the sheik to shaking our booties in trendy night clubs.  I’ve traveled to Jordan where I camped with my best friend Kathy and the Bedouins.  I went to Rwanda with a delegation from Macy’s to see the amazing work being done through their Shop for a Better World and Path to Peace Program.  Most recently, I journeyed to Haiti with a group of bloggers and my “soul cousin,” Willa Shalit where I experienced a side of Haiti you simply do not see in the news. That said, I’m hardly a world traveler, just a woman who jumps at the chance to travel and make a difference when I can.  Beirut or Bust is my travel journal where I share my adventures.
